New Middle School Teacher

Join us in welcoming Ben Pagel!

We are excited to announce that Ben Pagel has joined the SCS team as our new Middle School English and Bible Teacher!

Ben has his Master of Science in Education and Bachelor of Science in Bilingual & Bicultural Education from UW Oshkosh. He also has a Bachelor of Science in Secondary English Education with minors in Teaching English as a Second Language & Spanish from UW La Crosse.

He and his wife, Shilah, have one son named Elijah. They can usually be seen out walking their dogs around Sheboygan and at state parks. Ben has been teaching for 10 years in Wisconsin Dells, Menasha, and Manitowoc; he loves to coach middle school sports. The Pagels attend Word of Grace where they have volunteered together in Grace Kids, Hospitality, and the Missions Committee. They have a heart for missions, especially in Honduras.

SCS’s mission excites Ben because he knows middle school students are capable of great growth as readers and writers and as followers of Christ–it brings Ben joy to help kids through this vital season of their lives.
